ABOUT ABOUT

Each year the Chicago Marathon has tens of thousands of runners participate.  If you don't get in through the lottery you can raise money for a local Chicago Charity and still participate.

Mercy Home has been a solution for kids in crisis since 1887.  They give abused, abandoned, and neglected children a safe home to shelter them from the storm, therapy to heal their emotional wounds, and education to build brighter futures.  In Mercy Home’s care, kids who could otherwise be lost to the streets grow into confident, self-reliant, contributing adults.

And they do it all with support from people just like you and me.

This 5k fun run helps make sure that Mercy Home will continue to have the resources it needs to give these kids hope for tomorrow.  Mercy Home Heroes teammates believe—that no distance is too far to go to save a child.

Thank you for helping go the distance for kids in need.
